La votación para elección de los People's Choice Awards 2011 se inician hoy y terminarán el 07 de diciembre, a excepción de "Favorite New TV Drama" y "Favorite New TV Comedy", que permanecerán abiertas para la votación hasta la noche del show.

Concierto de Katy Perry y Linkin Park en la Puerta de Alcalá

La cantante Katy Perry y la banda Linkin Park, también se subirán al escenario de la Puerta de Alcalá de Madrid durante la MTV Week Madrid 2010.

En el post anterior hemos hablado de los artistas que participarán en el MTV Day 2010, que tendrá lugar el próximo 6 de noviembre en Madrid, como evento previo a la entrega de los MTV Europe Music Awards que se celebrarán al día siguiente.

Al día siguiente, el 7 de noviembre, y en el mismo escenario, situado en plena Puerta de Alcalá, y pocas horas antes de su participación en la gala de entrega de los MTV EMAs 2010, la diva del pop estadounidense Katy Perry la banda de rock metal Linking Park ofrecerán, gratuitamente, un concierto a todo aquel que pase por allí o que esté interesado en ver a dos pesos pesados de la música internacional actual.

La gala se retransmitirá en directo en la cadena MTV en más de 155 países y se espera que se vea en más de 590 millones de hogares de todo el mundo y es que la visita de Katy Perry, Linkin Park, Kesha, Kings of Leon, Miley Cyrus, Bon Jovi, Shakira o Rihanna pondrá en el punto de mira a la capital española, que se convertirá durante un par de días en un escaparate de música internacional.

La gala se celebrará en la Caja Mágica de Madrid y será conducida por la actriz de Hollywood Eva Longoria y además de poder seguirse en directo desde la cadena, podrá verse online a través de la web de MTV o a través de Facebook.

Conciertos de los MTV Day 2010

Grandes nombres como David Bisbal o Fangoria participarán en el MTV Day 2010, el próximo 6 de noviembre.

Este año, la cadena MTV cambia la fecha de su ya mítico y veraniego MTV Day, para hacerlo coincidir con las celebraciones del MTV Week Madrid 2010, que tendrán lugar en los días previos a la entrega de los MTV Europe Music Awards 2010.

El próximo 6 de noviembre, tendrá lugar el MTV Day 2010, en un escenario colocado, nada más y nada menos que en la emblématica Puerta de Alcalá de Madrid. David Bisbal, Fangoria y Efecto Mariposa serán los encargados de amenizar este día y de subirse al escenario en este enclave mítico. El concierto, que será retransmitido en directo por la cadena MTV será gratuito y al aire libre y también contará con la participación del grupo 84.

La MTV Week Madrid 2010 es posible gracias a la colaboración entre Turespaña (del Miniterio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio), Turismo Madrid (de la Comunidad de Madrid), Promoción Madrid y la propia cadena MTV.

Y es que durante estos días, la ciudad se va a convertir en el escaparate internacional del mejor panorama musical y va a reunir a estrellas de la talla de Lady Gaga, Katy Perry o Linkin Park.

Linkin Park se prepara para el lanzamiento del disco nuevo

Siempre están bombeando la música rock de bordes definidos, y la última versión de Linkin Park parece ser un nuevo y emocionante capítulo en su carrera.
Y hoy el primer sencillo "The Catalyst" fue puesto en libertad, un presagio para el muy esperado nuevo álbum "A Thousand Suns.

Aunque mil soles no llegará a las tiendas hasta el 14 de septiembre, los aficionados tiene un sabor de "The Catalyst" a través de un concurso denominado "Con Usted" en la que se deriva de la canción, se entregaron para ver quién podía llegar a los más enfermos remix.

La versión fan de la canción aparecerá en el álbum, pero también puedes escuchar la canción original en el widget de al lado.
